Elon Musk Suspends High-Profile Journalists and Shutters Twitter Space Following Rule Change on Private Jet Tracking
Several high-profile journalists and one of the richest people in the world, Elon Musk, were suspended by Twitter on Thursday evening. Later that night, Musk participated in a Twitter Space audio discussion with one of the suspended journalists, during which he stated that those who "doxx" will be suspended under the platform's new rule against tracking private jets, including one owned by Musk himself.
Same doxxing rules apply to “journalists” as to everyone else

The discussion and Twitter Spaces feature were then shut down and Musk tweeted that they were "fixing a Legacy bug" that should be resolved the next day. The suspended accounts included those belonging to journalists from major news outlets and Mastodon, a platform alternative to Twitter. Mastodon was trending on Twitter, but NBC News journalists were unable to tweet any links to Mastodon pages.
